Default Fueling issue

Ok guys, I hAve a 93 6.5 with the db2 injection pump. 214k miles, as far as I know lp has never been changed, nor injectors, nor ip. Just replaced head gaskets and heads (promaxx). 97 water pump and new radiator and glow plugs and feed the beast mod. Anywho I've just dumped a bunch of money into it. Drove it for a day or two. Had a decent amount of white smoke out the exhaust but nothing drastic. So I figured maybe an injector was down.
well I decided to get into it about a mile from my house and as it hit about 3k rpms it stalled on me. Weird thing is it fired right back up like it sucked all fuel outta the system. Now I have Drove it since and with my foot to the floor couldnt get it over 40 and white smoke just rolls outta the exhaust. I'm thinking ip failure but not keen to throw more money into the 6.5 when a dirty swap is much more appealing. But I still need the truck atm so it kinda needs to be fixed. What are your thoughts on the culprit of my headache?

Sounds like a head gasket. Check the coolant level. Does the smoke smell sweet?

Nope. Forgot to mention I just bought new heads for it and all new top end gaskets. Coolant hose was pressurizing pretty bad and the truck would overheat until I did the heads and head gaskets. Just smells like fuel now.
