hi i just wonder if there is many mods that needs to be done to put a turbo on a 6.2l non turbo diesel -86?

dont have much knowlage about those motors

 

You will have to start with getting the engine perches for a big block Chevy for clearance of the exhaust pipe then look for manifolds for a 6.5 and the crossover pipe to start along with th intake.

And keep the boost on the low side no more than 10psi max.

 

Or, send me a PM. I have a complete Banks Sidewinder turbo kit for a 6.2. You need it and I need to get it out of my garage! Ah, just noticed you are in Sweden. Much to expensive to ship. Anyway, that is what you really need. It will fit on anyGM 6.2 pickup/blazer/suburban. they will NOT fit on a 6.2 HMMWV/Hummer as is. If that is what you are putting it on let me know and I can tell you how to make it fit. I am located in Los Angeles, California now.
