Lift pump issue(s), PMD come to mind. Any mods to it? Were there any signs of impending troubles?

Well I mean there is no mods but I could just be driving down the road and I will just shut off even when I'm in the middle of a turn doing 45 never know when it's going to happen no signs of stuttering or nothing to shut off but it won't keep running though the other day I tried to start it it ran for about 10 seconds and shut off no sign or nothing started it back up this again started back up there again if nothing on it would not stay running still I mean I'm without a truck

I would look at getting a new PMD as it is one of the most common issues. You will need to see if your PMD is black or gray to match it up.

Go to leroydiesel.com get a black PMD and a made in the USA extension harness to mount the PMD inside the front bumper. Odds are very good that this is your issue.

If this does not cure your problem, Leave the PMD in the bumper all plugged in, unplug the harness and plug back into the Injection pump PMD.

Get a rubber cap or plug for the end of your PMD cable extension and wait until you eventually need it.

Then go about diagnosing your issue.

You will also immediately want to dot he lift pump relay upgrade.

First jumper your lift pump to make sure it is working at all.

Run about 1/2 gallon out the T drain and time it.

Get Leroys lift pump relay harness or make your own

Have you relocated the pmd?
I had the same problem a few years back & it was the terminals in the connector between the IP & the pmd, same situation. No idea what it was, no codes, shutdown hot or cold.
