Default Priming 83' 6.2 with electric fuel pump

so i figured out the electrical issue some wires coming off the junction block on ther fire wall melted together so yay and atleast i didnt fry something too bad. next i noticed that my out line on my primary fuel filter upon removal had no diesel running out so i trekked on to remove and replace the mechanical fuel pump. after about 3 hours of trying to hold the rod that pushes the fuel pump lever in place with grease and removed the plate and rod and stuck the old fuel pump back on their. so i went and purhcased an electric fuel pump from autozone that pushes about 4-7 psi 25gpm and installed that right near and below the gas tank. i connected the hot side of the fuel pump to the wiper fuse inside the cab. while the pump it running fuel will shoot out my bleeder valve on my screw o filter no bubbles or foam straight clear yellow diesel. i moved on to my secondary filter and i have fuel pooring out of there too no bubbles. but when trying to crank i have no fuel at the injectors. so i gave up on it for the evening ad thought on why i couldnt get it to crank but now realizing that the fuse panel looses curret while the starter is turning. but finally here is my question shuoldnt theip still have enough fuel to it past the 2nd filter to atleast stumble over?or does it need constant pressure to recieve fuel? i have 12v on the pinkish looking wire on top of the ip so im assuming the solenoid is woring im going to fix my botched wiring tomarrow maybe run it to a toggle switch inside the cab i dunno... also while im thinking the 2 hoses that used to go the mechanical pump i just looped back together with a piece of hose. any advice on priming her back up?

Glad you figured out the wiring issue what you should do when bleeding the system is loosen a injector line and crank the engine over until you see fuel leaking and you really should use a relay hooked into the OPS as a safety device lessen the chance of a fire.
