Default 6.5 problems

I have a 1993 6.5 ran good when parked about 3 years ago. Got it out the other day to possibly push snow changed all the fluids put new batteries in and she fired right up. The problem is now it is smoking white smoke bad and smells like raw fuel. Any help would be appreciated. I thought about injectors but some one said look at some fuel return check valve first. I'm not sure where that is. Or if that could even be the problem

Injectors sound like they are sticking and or dirty leaking fuel into the cylinders run a can of seafoam in with fresh fuel that should do it if not put a quart of transmission fluid in the tank.

On a 93 you will also want to do the lift pump relay upgrade - that has nothing to do with your current issue, but will save you problems in the future.

You can make your own or buy from leroydiesel.com

If you make your own, do not cut and splice things. Google dual lift pump relay upgrade.

It is best to get the plugs and make your kit plug and play like Leroys. I've posted the part numbers on dieselplace before and possibly here

Are you referring to the OPS mod?
