Is This Truck Worth Buying?
thats good advice gunman. that is pretty much what happened to me. mine has been down for almost a year. luckly i didnt get rid of my mx3 or i wouldnt have anything to drive. its always best to have a backup vehicle. and at least you will still be able to say you have owned a diesel truck.
If they only put 10k per year average on the truck it could have been a farm truck and worked very hard or hardly driven.
It looks decent to me, I would look at it like Jenn said. Keep in mind it is NOT a Duramax though.

I was thinking the same thing if the 6.5L breaks down then I still have the Regal as my primary vehicle.Plus I'll learn how to fix the 6.5L so if and when it does break then I will at least know how to fix it.Plus its cheap enough except for the 220 miles away part.
there not bad trucks as long as you realize that its not a cummins powerstroke or a duramax, they will last a while if you use them just to drive and not work the hell out of it, there more of a light duty diesel
When I was in Seabees we had the 6.5 in our CUCV & Hummers. You couldn't give me one with all the problems we saw. The 6.5's have overheating issues, the cranks break. If you want a diesel truck, buy an older 5.9, 7.3, or 6.9 diesel. You can pick one up fairly reasonable and reliable.
On the other hand, diesel is pushing $5.00 a gallon in some places, (already there for some of us), why not trade or sell both of your vehicles and buy something reliable, economical, and affordable to drive, like a Toyota Tacoma? It will hold it's value so when it time to get a diesel, you haven't lost much. You'll have extra money to save because of the cost difference in fuel

No Toyota's for me I don't care for them I drove one at the Nebraska State Fair and they didn't impress me one bit.An Older 5.9L Cummins would be alright.I don't want a Ford I have had nothing but bad luck with them.Except for the Ford tractors those are the only Ford diesels worth buying in my opinion.

I dont knwo about you guys but my leg dont bend that much.
