Default Adding a turbo to a non turbo 1999 6.5?

Let me first start off by saying that I'm not really yup on diesels, but I've been around the block with cars in general, have done engine swaps, frame-offs ect... Two years ago I got a bug to build an RV out of a schoolbus. Picked up a '99 p-42 chassis Bluebird bus, and had a ball doing the build.

100,000 miles, always maintained, but a non-turbo. Ive picked up a GM8, and am gathering the parts to put it on. So my question is, do I have to include all the air sensors, ect that are on the manifold, or can I simply swap out the intake, bump my mechanical injection up a smidge, and fire her up? Sorry if I'm asking a dumb question?

If it is a van body you will need the van style heads, manifolds, and gm6 turbo as the only thing that will fit is a center mount.
