fuel pressure

What pump did you install and why????
How did you power it ???
Did you also upsize the fuel supply fittings out of the FFM???
Best place to monitor is at inlet of the IP, or outlet of the FFM prior to feed line to the IP.
I ran mechanical gauge for mine using copper gauge line to the gauge into the cab, also have ability to plug the line at my FFM in case of a line or gauge leak.
I used a simple 0-15psi gauge from autozone, normally intended for mounting on a carburated engines fuel feed rail.
Some folks prefer a electronic gauge a littler more $$$ than I wanted to spend,,,
mech gauge on Diesel in cab is very little risk IMO as flash point is MUCH higher than gasoline fuel, plus little risk of atomization (required for auto ignition of Diesel) at just 8-10 psi if you have a dribbling leak in the gauge or line.
