Default NEW RIG!!

Finally after years of waiting i'm getting my first diesel. It's a 1986 Chevy k30 military with 4,000 miles and a 6.2 . It will arrive this friday from maryland. I want more power though any thoughts? companies that make go fast goodies (besides banks)? tips? injection pump trickery? things to watch for? Any advice/ knwoledge will be greatly appreciated!

Congrats on the new rig. We expect pics.

Some guys have been sticking 6.5L manifolds and turbos on the 6.2L's. I don't know what all is involved but there's a couple threads around here about it.

I was just thumbing through Diesel World, June issue, and there are a couple of pages about 6.5 and a couple 6.2 aftermarket items available.

there a few aftermarket parts but im thinking you might have to get creative. welcome to the site man!!

When your single piece crank shaft becomes a two-piece stick a 3.9 cummins in there.
