Default Ac

Just put a condensor in my k1500 6.5 td and 6 12 oz cans of freon and one 3oz can of red dye. Don't see no leaks but the air is just not getting all that cold. Would to much freon cause this?

What are the high side and low side pressures? did you pull a vacuum on the system, if so how long did it hold?

Did I read correctly (6) 12 Oz cans ???? 2# is normal capacity definitely an overcharge issue if (6) cans plus dye were used>

Have you ever recharged a AC system before ?

We need more info why the condenser was changed,

Inquiring minds would like to know "rest of the story".

Did you change the dryer and orifice tube, pull vac on system, add correct oil and oil type? Did you purge the evaporator?

If I recall 95 was R-12 system, had is been converted to R-134?

1994 and new is 134A, but it's looking like the OP forgot he was looking for an answer.

134A is correct for a 95, and that was too much freon. Is the pump even kicking on? could be a bad pressure sensor which is very likelyand will keep the pump from kicking on. just my 2 cents.
