Default Removing an after market alarm system

I have a 95 chevy 3500 with a 6.5 TD. the truck came with an after market alarm system installed, but without any key fobs. Ever since I bought the truck it has had a starting problem. sometimes i will turn the key and the starter will not in gauge until I tap the audiovox alarm box a few times. does anyone have any Ideas on how to get rid of one of these?

You almost have to hire an electrician. I took one off my truck that had an inop key fob. Holy moly, there were wires everywhere connected to the truck like an alien sucking on its brainwaves. Thankfully the electrician who wired it used the good wire connectors that didn't involve cutting factory wiring. All I had to do was unplug all the yellow connectors. There is wiring in the engine bay too (glow plug operation), and a safety kill switch where the hood latches down.

I removed mine because it began randomly attempting to start with no one around.
