Default Turbo on 6.5

I was told to get more power I should get an hx35 or an hx40 turbo. I already replaced the old turbo with an oe one. Also how much boost would I get?
Thanks!

Upgrading your turbo is probably one of the biggest improvements in performance on our trucks "IF" you have supporting mods for it. 4'' exhaust, intake (for your year changing out the flat panel to later round style filter)Gauges to monitor whats going on and a tune to support the turbo. I have run both the ATT turbo and the HX 35. Both are great turbos, it all depends on what you are looking for. Check out my sig link to my youtube channel, I have a couple of videos with the various turbos.

I have heard that the Feed the beast mod is also a huge help and almost mandatory for a bigger turbo.

If you are running an OEM style lift pump, you should run an AC Delco for a 1993. I have also heard that the 2000 lift pump also had a higher flow rate.

When I swapped out the hx-35 two weekends ago I did the feed the beast mod as well, also plumbed in a fuel pressure gauge to monitor. I have a custom tune from Heath diesel and its been coined the "smoker tune" from local 6.5's It pulls fuel pressure right down to a vacuum at WOT. I'm currently running the stock LP. Yes the 93 LP is an upgrade, as well as an air dog or a walbro. Looking into them now to see what I want. I think a tune and upgraded LP should go hand in hand due to increased flow rate

for the hx35 swap is there any fitment issues with bolting the new turbo to the old exhaust manifold, or does it just bolt right on? also where is the best place, or manufacturer to buy it from?
