HI FOLKS, 6.5L GM DIESEL QUESTION. FUEL LIFT PUMP CIRCUIT BLOWS ECM-BAT FUSE..BUT TRUCK RUNS FINE. ??????????????

The oil pressure sensor supplys power to the lift pump after the truck starts. That is a known issues when it goes bad it can cause a short in the switch. Also verify the wires to the lift pump.

The truck will run without the lift pump running but it is putting extra strain on the injecton pump.

If the truck is an automatic... With the truck off, put it in drive and try to start it. You will hear the lift pump running and see if it blows another fuse.
