Default 6.5

Someone said that if you give a 6.5 more boost, it with have defueling issues. In my 2000 Chevy 6.5 there is no MAF sensor so if i add one, could i increase my boost without defueling?

What would you like to connect the MAF to??? If you try to just crank up the boost it will not be able to compensate for the amount of air. The only sensors changing the amount of fuel put into the motor are the intake air temperature "IAT" sensor, and manifold absolute pressure "MAP" sensor.

With a proper tune and monitoring EGT/Boost you can safely run ~15psi.

This would be a safe kit to use.

Great post.

There are several sources to get quality ECM tunes.

Heath Diesel,Kennedy Diesel and KOJO Tunes are the 3 biggest names currently.

Westers Garage and SS Diesel are to my knowledge the same tune and old by today's standards.
