hey all, ive got no dtc12 when i read codes. goes straight to trouble codes. i keep reading that if you get no code 12 before and after your list of codes there is a diagnostic issue with the ecm. what do you do then? I cant reset the ecm. tried removing the battery cables and the ecm/ign fuse and i still get the same stored codes. my truck will not exit limp mode.

 

What codes are you getting? If it's flashing 12 that means there are no codes present and everything is fine as far as the computer knows.

 

Seems normal for these trucks to not display code 12 when using the code key/paperclip.

If a code list does not include code 12 as a fault code-it can't display code 12 ever-these trucks don't have a code 12.
