Easiest way is to remove the dfuel line from the IP and extend it so it can reach your containers, then locate the red wire with the insulator on the end that comes out of the back of the underhood fusebox.

Apply 12 v to that wire to run the lift pump and pump the fuel out.

If the fuel is real bad it can cover the sock on the tank and the LP can run dry-but it's made in such a manner it's ok to run dry for a short time.

okay so i did something retarded, but my thoughts were shooot, it was 500 bucks... i can sell it with a blown motor for 500 and more than likely the fuel wont ignite anyway.. so i grew a pair and went and bought 2 batteries. came home, crunk it over for a few seconds then vroom (more like takatkataktakt) but anywho, aside from my internal debate on how to spell out what a diesel sounds like i have a random knock coming from the passenger side of the motor, my first thought was let it warm up and itll go away.. it didnt so im wondering if it could be the oil pump? though the pressure was fine, stuck lifter? ill be pulling the valve cover off here in the next hour and i hope i find something, because other than that all i know of it to be is piston slap, which i dont think just having an engine sit for 5 years will cause, and i have many people that can vouch for it sounding like a healthy engine when it first got parked

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

the knock has no pattern its just random, when i started it, only had one single puff of white smoke then clean, any and all help is appreciated, thanks

and yes im still gonna drain the fuel, i was just feeling ballsy and stupid

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

and also.. didnt sound like the turbo was spinning at allllll, so i thought it best to cut it off

Noisy vacuum pump?

Take the drive belt off and see if the noise goes away.

Another common failure is the drive pully-it's a rubber bonded unit like the ballancer and can become unbonded, with the belt off try turning the crank drive pulley-if it moves it's shot.

im an idiot, i read about that and completely disregarded it, on the bright side supposed to rain tomorrow so i put most of it back to cover up the important bits.

but would that keep the turbo from working?
