Thanks the diagram will help out. I found out I do not have a egr valve and there is a f style intake installed. I am guessing I have a leak some were or one of the solenoids is no good. I have a vacuum gauge and will check this weekend at the points in diagram. Thanks. Truck is running better with resistor in but mileage is down still, it also likes the warmer weather we have been having.

In the case of an F vin truck-this is the proper vac diagram:
Also with the codes reported I think you might need to clean and make sure the 3 ground wires on the rear passenger side of the engine on an intake stud or coolant block off plate stud are secure.
Other wise someone switched intakes and you need to keep the S vin vac lines connected to everything but the where the EGR valve would be,but put the hose on and stuff a bearing or golf Tee into it to keep dirt out.
Does the drivers side valve cover have 3 solenoids or just 1?
Would also help to know the 8th digit of the vin?

The truck is a S. I have 3 solenoids. The one to the EGR is blocked off. I will clean the ground studs. Do you think that this could be the cause of the bad fuel mileage?
I have to say when I get the few bug worked out of this truck, now that I have 1000 plus miles on it, I am loving it.
When this problem is corrected I will be working on the ABS next. Had to pull the fuse as it would come on all the time under 8 mph.
