Default 6.5 1500 should i buy it or walk away?

hi i found this 96 6.5 1500 on kijiji for a reasonable price around here in canada but does this look like an okay one to buy? it would be a 4hr drive for me so i don't want to drive that far for nothing. how good are these trucks? this one is higher km's but its got lots of work done, what do you think? here's the link: 1996 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 - Brandon Cars For Sale - Kijiji Brandon Canada.

depends on what you want to do with That truck it is just a 1/2 ton truck if you are looking for a everyday driver might be worth looking at if you are wanting to tow much at all you will want a 3/4 ton or better IMO

Thats alot of miles for that much money, but it looks like he has done about everything it's gonna need for a while.I would crawl under it and check out the frame really well being from the rust belt or have him send pictures of the under side of the truck.

The rails between bed and frame, rear shock mounts, look for the metal on the frame itself scaling, separating in layers.

I'd pass on it due to the rust.
