I have a 94 6.5 diesel turbo. When the engine is in idle it runs in idle good. But when you start to accelerate in idle then release acceleration the engine shuts completely off. I need help to solve this problem checked fuel pump and its good. Can someone please help me?

 

Is this an intermittent problem or does it happen every time? Need more details. Check engine light? Healthy electrical system? Clean grounds, pmd connections? If you keep your foot in it, will it rev all the way to the limiter?

 

Check engine light is on. And it wont rev all the way up. I notice when I rev it up and take foot off accelerator. The battery voltage starts to drop a little then it shuts completely off.
