I read on a post about taking a leaf spring out of the injector pump and removing 3 of the governor weights? Does anybody have experience doing this and what are the benefits of doing these modes?

 

If you wanna start "modding" a db-4911 you would be better off getting one built for what you want to do. What is it you are trying to accomplish anyways? I don't know the answer to your question, but I would love to know what you have done to the truck if the fuel screw turned up 1/2 a turn isn't enough fuel for you?
