Default please help

Problem is I have a 2000 k2500 6.5 TD blowing white smoke smells sweet but not water in oil and it doesn't overheat I'm reading that it could be the egr cooler head gasket it does lose coolant I fill it and it comes out some where over by turbo please give suggestions.

Sounds like blown head gasket or cracked head/block.

When you start from cold check to see if the upper rad hose quickly becomes firm-that is an indication of compression getting into the cooling system.

Checking the compression can usually pinpoint a cylinder as well.
