Default tire size?

I have a 1997 Chevy k3500 dually and its running 235/85/16 tires and my tires r junk! And I was wondering what if any different sizes I could put on it, its all stock suspension and my back duals seem extremely close so idk if I can go with a different size tire or not? Any suggestions? Can't afford new tires so I have to look for a good used set and for some reason where I live its very hard to find a set of 235/85/16s

Actually they're wider the first number in the size is the width, they're also shorter (second number in the size) so you would get less top speed

Willis call batteries now motor sports in Jasper, they have used tires.I'm running 285/75 16 but I doubt you could get away with that on a dually.

235/85R16 or 255/ 85R16, or 7.50R16 You might get away with running 265/75R16 but like I said they're a little shorter and a little wider. Shorter tires will hurt your milage and taller tires like the 255/85's will help it a little if you even care about that

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

If you load that dually you wanna stick with a 10 ply (load range E) tire

Mileage idc about, I definately need to stick with 10 ply because I haul my 7 foot bush hog for my tractor on it, and I use to pull my skidsteer around and I use to pull my dump trailer with 5 tons on it
