Default 94 6.5 blown up

So I bought a 94 chevy dually 6.5 with low oil pressure. I changed the oil pump everything seemed good then driveing to work it locked up on the freeway. I got it in to neutral and off the road oil and smoke everywere. I towed it home let it cool and tried it that night it fired but knocked and shook horrible. Are there any affordable rebuild kits out there.

Better off getting a military take out from teds trucks and stuff, might have to settle for a 6.2 and add the 6.5 parts to complete it?

I just rebuilt my 6.2. The 6.2 and 6.5 kits I found were about the same price (within $50 of each other) and I paid $700 for a master rebuild kit: pistons (with wristpins and clips, rings, bearings, gaskets, oil pump, and timing set.

X2 on Teds motor. I'm more than happy with mine.IMO you are starting off better with a GEP block than a GM block with known issues(cracking). Good luck.
