Default Rear ends

I have 1995 Chevy C3500 "6.5" 5 speed manual with dual "wheels." Can anyone tell what other rear ends will bolt into this? I have "4.11"and want around "3.08." I won't be hauling anything heavy, I bought this because there are only 37,000 miles on the truck, a one owner, documented. Drove it home, a little over 400 miles, no problems, but need better fuel mileage.
I'd like to just bolt one in from a 2500, but don't know what all will fit. Thanks

Be tough to find gears that low from a 2500,maybe a suburban but even then 3.42 might be the best you can find?

As for spring perches,88-2000 should all be the same however you will then have missmatched track widths between frt and back if you want to keep single wheels because of the dual wheel offset up frt..

Thanks, I'm not to concerned about the tracking fr. to back. If I get one from a 2500, will i need to carry 2 spares or will the bolt pattern be the same, do you know?

Depends if you get a 6 or 8 bolt axle?

8 bolt should be the same,so I guess you would want to carry the original dually spare to fit all 4 corners even if the offset is different on the back.

Also if you do end up using the large offset wheels install the backs wide-not narrow.
