Default hard starting?

Ok well I wiggled the connection on the boost sensor and the check engine light went away and its not doggy anymore has all the power in the world the only issue I'm still having is the hard starting the truck will crank for 20 to 40 seconds before starting and when it does start I get a huge puff of white smoke, it does this whether its plugged in or not, does anyone have any idea why?

willis what codes if any and dont crank for more than 15 seconds with at least a minute between to allow the starter to cool or you will be rebuilding or replacing the starter

Mayhem I'm not throwing any codes now, I did have a boost sensor code but I played with the connection on the boost sensor and the code went away and hasn't came back and all my other symptoms went away with it just not the hard starting

Nope it doesn't it has never once stalled out on me, before I wiggled the connection on the boost sensor it would kinda hiccup and lose its get up or hiccup and the get up would come back but ever since I wiggled the connection it hasn't done that anymore either, it runs great and has all kinds of power, I just can't get this hard starting figured out

I honestly have no idea what it could be, I was kinda thinking I might have bad/weak glow plugs but I could be completely wrong

well do you have excessive white smoke when it finally starts ??? if so that could be a sign of bad or weak GP's check all the wires going to the GP's there are also fuse links that you will want to look at as well

Yes I have excessive white smoke when it finally starts, and what also makes me think its glow plugs is after it warm and I shut it off and go to start it again it starts on the first crank every single time
