crank sensor?

Default crank sensor?

What are the symptoms of a bad or going bad crank sensor? Where on the truck is the crank sensor located?___

On some vehicles the crank sensor can control the shift points of the transmission, Timing,ect.
On alot of vehicles the sensor can be found right on top of the vibration dampner.

Are you talking about the crankshaft position sensor? If so, it located right around the power steering resovoir i do believe. A bad CPS can cause a few diferent things. On some trucks, it wont even let it start. It can also make it run as if the injectors are stuck open

Check for codes first.
Also only replace with AC Delco the BWD's are often junk out of the box.
