Runaway is a clasic PMD symptom how old is the PMD and where is it's location???

 

Pmd Was Replaced Not Too Long Ago And Is Mounted In The bumper Its Been Acting Up For A While Though And I Have A Spare Injection Pump Just For This Reason So Im Thinking About Replacing It anyways

 

Clean the connections for though the relocation kit. I know mine had dirty connection and I had problems.

 

ill Check thaT Next Time Im There Im Still Leaning Injection Pump Bc Its Been Acting Up For A While Maybe Ill Do Both For Good Measure.

 

i went over there today and i got the whole story. when the truck ran away it did not shut off until he got the chance to run to the front and pull a fuse. so he doesnt know how high it went when it ran away. we put a different pmd on and it starts right up, smokes a little and then after warm it starts to make a popping sound. we did just put a new crankshaft in it like maybe a thousand miles ago. i am not sure what it could be.

Sounds like one of the rocker spacers has broken-they are plastic and keep the rockers centered on the valves,common enough issue.
