Default Air Compressor

Is that the pump closer to the drivers side just in front off the engine? Well hears the problem.. When I start the vehicle it makes a squealing noise like the bearing is gone, and sometimes I get smell when I put on the heater.. can I change the bearing or do I need a new pump.

There must be a bearing in there.. are they hard too change.. going to town today.. it would be a chance for me to pick up one..thanks

The pulley has it's own bearing but takes specialty tools to change.
A good rad/AC shop should be able to do it reasonably.
