Default Considering adding dual CAT 3 micron filters just after tank.

I want to add 3 micron CAT filters to the rig. I want to filter the diesel as early as possiable to keep the system as clean as possiable. I followed what appeared to be the fuel lines leading from teh fuel tank (drivers side). at the drivers side door the linse appear to split. It looks like a good place to splice a new fuel filter in. The CAT filters are pretty long (approxinatly 22-inches). I was thinkin of to the body under the drivers seat. I found a suitable housig for $25. I am concerned about the fuel pumps ability to suck fuel through a 3 micron filter. I was going to alleviate my concern by adding two filters in parallel.

Any thoughts on my proposed location pre pump?
Any thoughts on mounting them under the driver side body?
Any thoughts on using two filters to ensure adequate flow?

Thanks in advance. And thanks Racer55.

Those filters are meant to be used under pressure not suction.
You would be best to put them after the LP and instead use a simple inline screen pre LP.
