Since yesterday, the truck was running A1. This morning, I started the truck and everything was fine until it ran 2 mins. It started to rattle and when I push the fuel it jumps to 2000RPM. The only way to slow it down is by turning the ignition swith off.

I tried another PMD and still same symptoms.

When the truck is on neutral it goes crazy but if im engaged to drive the truck run normally but when driving if I push a little the fuel its like I put it down the floor.

 

After 2 days of research, the problem sounds like a broken armature on the IP fuel solenoid.

What can cause that? Cold weather?

 

Age and lack of lubricant in the fuel is the most likely factors for the IP to fail in that manner.
They were never engineered for ultra low sulfer diesel(ULSD),a quality fuel conditioner with lubricity additive needs to be used in every tank and/or marine 0 ash 2 cycle oil mixed at a rate of 1:200.

I just brought the truck 3 weeks ago, did full 3 times(2 with slick diesel (1st link) and one with an injector cleaner(2nd Link)) and I don't know if the seller added any fuel conditioner... My bad so another IP is on the way
