The electronic IP's do not tolerate off brand fuels near as well as the earlier mechanical IP's do-I would not advise you try it.

Depending on the concentration of the dye,the OS can become clouded and not operate properly-the same problem can occur if using 2 stroke oil for lubricity that has a heavy dye.

Any clouding or blinding of the OS from the product being used is the biggest problem.

I work on a very large farm and logging sites. A lot of times my truck wont see the actual roadways for over a month. So it is a good saving if i can run offroad, thats why i am so intrested in alturnitives.

With extreme filtration and minimal dyes, there should be no problems.

Having proper temp fuel is important as well so the viscosity is correct.

Where are you getting your veggie oil, your best bet is to run used motor oil with 20% diesel it is amazing I personaly have run both the veggie oil and used motor oil and the motor oil is the easiest just filter with a fuel filter mix in 20% diesel and put it in the tank she runs just the same and a little smoother, veggie oil is a pain to filer plus you need to keep it heated as to not have it clog lines and filters

Are you kidding! I had no idea you could do that..
So If I change the oil in my truck, I can filter the oil, mix it 20% with diesel fuel and Run it?
Seriously?
Thats awsome.

Good Ill start doing that. I could see my self going through filters a little quicker though even if i do strain and prefilter it good. I take it the reason i can runs trans fluid too is because it is only acting as a lubricant?
