6.5 blazer power problems
The thermostat housing is where the top rad hose connects to the engine.
There should be a brass tap located near the frt passenger side of the engine close to the fan belt up high.
That is the T valve.

It is not very large.

All i did was take the valve off while it was idleing and it kept running. Dont know if i was supposed to do anything more to the valve

I'm thinking the pmd might have failed, the people before me put a new one in a year or so ago and said they mounted it in the air intake housing or air cleaning housing ( don't know if thats a good spot) is there any way to test the pmd other then getting a new pmd?

With the engine running fuel should have come out the valve when you opened it-if no fuel came out and the engine stalled then the LP is not working.
Diagnose the inoperable lift pump first.
If the engine runs then the PMD is not yet suspect.
