The sensor can be removed and cleaned or replaced but it is a delicate operation and expensive.

I think the optic sensors go for $300 + IMO not worth running wmo in an electronic IP, all the more reason to swap to a db2

30mpg is a bunch of bs but please do share how if your that adamit the truck only gets 15 or so stock your not going to double your mpg cuz of motor oil, and yes i do say this from experiance, but personaly i run 80-90% motor oil the only reqson you need the diesel is to give the oil the proper viscosity to its nice on your lifter pump and ip, all you need to do is get a pump fromes lowes or home depo that you can connect a garden hose to then you get a oil filter relocation bracket run a hose to pull to the pump then a hose from the pump to thw filter and put in your tank personaly i prefer to mix in my diesel before i filter it, you can also mix it with regular gasoline either one works Hell you can mix it quite a few things shoot take a shot and give your truck one to shell like that

I knew a guy, that loaned his diesel car to someone and they filled it with gas.... ruined his moter.
I am shure u are using such small amounts when mixing its fine. The whole ptical sensor or what ever getting clunded scares me a ll. But I shure do want to start mixing my own fuel like this as It means i wont reliant on buying it.

The electronic IPs are ok holding up to wvo and bio diesel. I sure as hell wouldnt take a chance mixing gas or putting any gas in my fuel tank ever.

What kind of pump and filter relocation kit are you using? Would a lawn tractor filter relocation kit be good enough?

Yes it doesnt mater what relocation bracket you use as long as you can hook up some fittings to hook up your garden hose and whatever size filter you want

Yeah, I guess what i am asking is, do you think the filters would be largeenough and of good enough quality, i kind of like the dual filter setups better
