since I'm going to have all the parts off i will install a boost gauge to figure out that problem. pmd is expensive as i just spent 250 on 8 injectors. also got valve covers, new fuel return lines, and injector lines. i don't need the intake manifold off to do the pmd so ill hold off on that and see how she runs when i get her fixed, ill keep you posted

Ok so you do have recent injectors, check for a leak at the injector seam where they screw together.
Might need warranty on 1 or more?

ive got a 98 6.5td and i dont have any boost at all...unless the gauge is no good. But i am having other issues then just not boost. When i got the truck i drove it two hours away from home and when i left the guys house it started like missing out and then it ran fine after i just kept driving it cuz i didnt wanna hafta tow it home. I got it home and that night i drove it to work. the next morning it was raining and it started misfiring and sounds almost like a backfire and everytime i would push the pedal it would just kinda stall but it would idle just fine. I got home and shut if off and now it wont start. It didnt start for like three weeks. This morning i went out and did some interior work and just sed what the heck lets try and start it. It started after i had to push the pedal and let it crank over for a little bit. I know there was medal shavings and black debris in the fuel filter and i cleaned that out and changed the filter. I drove it down the road and ran fine. I pulled in my drive shut it off and started right up shut it off did some other work in the garage and i came back out and started it and revved it up and it started doing the same thing it has been doing. and it stalled and now it wont start again. I know the IP has been replaced and i know the PMD is still on the IP. when i get some extra money im going to move it to the front bumper like my other one. Could it be the PMD or could it also be the OPS. I the LP runs while the engine is running. It seems like it dont have any power and its starving for fuel. It also blows black smoke. I dont know what fishbite is but it seems to sputter and misfire and stall. Please help I cant a afford to drive a 3/4 chevy with a 6.0 that gets 12 MPG. Thanks

Sounds like a failing PMD as far as stalling and rough running go-moving the original PMD will do nothing for you, there is no repairing them-it's time for replacement with a new PMD/heatsink and PMD resistor with extension harness.

You need to diagnose the no boost condition,it the truck smokes black under accelleration you are causing very high EGT's that can melt down pistons.
