dropped my starter off to get rebuilt...but they couldn't tell me how much it would cost or how long it would take...that has me worried...

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

ok called the shop they said bolt came loose inside starter fried the brushes...said that they wouldn't know how much it will cost till monday when the brush assembly comes in and they see if the solenoid is any good...I figured the solenoid was good since the starter would spin when bench tested just not under a load

Good result if solves the problem,if brushes were good it might have only needed the solenoid-if they arc out current won't make it to the brushes very well.
