Well, guys the good news is I passed. My team and I managed a 14.6 Million dollar project with a 1.9% variance of over budget but ahead of schedule so I think that is pretty good.

The exam was harder than I thought but I still managed 75%.

Cheers.

pass mark was 61%. Class average was 77% but I had weeks of 65+ hours leading up to it and it was all I could do. I hate trick questions! If it was math it would have been very different.

well, actually, I plan on getting this current work project on the path to wrap up (around sept.08) but before that I want to write my project management professional (PMP) designation from the Project Management Institute (PMI) which then opens up an entire realm of project opportunities that I would never have thought possible before. I also will be writting the Canadian Construction Associations Gold Seal exam this year as well (GSC)

Come 2009 I should be doing more of the same but making about 40 to 60% more money, hopefully get more holidays (4 weeks would be nice - which I had before I left the last place) and hopefully some time to actally take them.

Evil, I still think this is something you should also consider because being a CET (like me) has a glass ceiling for sure. Both money and responsibility.
