Well that and we are one of the largest refiners in the world too, which is why our energy prices are cheaper than lets say Germany (granted most of their price is taxes).

IMHO the world's economy is far too feeble to support $200 a barrel oil, it is struggling to clear 106 bucks a barrel now.

 

not you're not. our govt. buys the oil at rock bottom dirt cheap prices. They then process it and screw americans and canadians up the *** at the pump.

 

Not just the Government screwing it up when the economy sucks and Exxon is still clearing billion dollar profits each year. This is the one case where Government involvement could save the economy (hard for me to say considering they could run a ***** house in to the dirt)...but they wont because there are to many rhino oil tycoons in Government. Why would they take money out of there own wallets.

 

Look for a documentery called "The Seven Sisters", its about the global oil industry, it may change your way, you look at oil companies.

yeah, it's in the toilet. It's said we have over 100 years worth of sucking it back. Yet we have way more oil and every time we fill up, our *** gets sore.

 

i once was very angry at the gas station and just plain out yelled " Who else is getting it in the *** by the fuel prices" and i heard people screaming back at me "hell yea". I was expecting people looking at me with disgusted looks but they all seemed to get angry too and agree with me, it kinda shocked me but that shows how bad the fuel prices are hurting people.

 

I know its a sore subject but lets keep the swearing for later in the badlands please

 

Check out Green Earth Technologies, plant-based motor oil. I'm not saying it's the answer, and I haven't used it yet, but it provides another option, competition to Big Oil. Run some of this, a WVO conversion, maybe grow my hair out and get some sandals, hey hey,man! LOL Looking for a hippy emoticon, didn't see one.oh well
