I've complained to them several times about it loosing the signal so easy, they've re-located the dish twice. They never mentioned anything about a cover, is this an aftermarket piece, or does it come from them? If I could get the signal to hold, it'd be a pretty good system.

No its aftermarket....companies cant do anything about the weather so its no use complaining to them.

 

I have had dish for years but it may be coming out pretty soon. Since January 1 we have not had fox, abc, or cbs because of a dispute between dish and the broadcaster. No football playoffs, no nascar. I don't really watch TV much other than the discovery and nat geo channels so it hasn't been a big deal, but after 4 months of not even being able to watch a race on Sunday I've had enough.

Oh yeah, there has been no credit or discount on the bill even though we can't watch the major stations. Real nice Dish.

How can you have TV without FOX NEWS

 

My parents had direct tv.. then went to dish.. and dish jacked up the rates to where it was pointless for the stupid channels you had so they went back to direct tv... id say the only nice thing bout dish is you can have sat. Tv on 2 tvs with one box... And the guide always having to update ya I thought they sucked...

 

I always had a preference for directv, but I did work for a company the made the boxes, so I had everything but ppv for free when i worked there

 

I missed the Mariners home opener last night cause the channel they got listed for Root Sports NW, said it was blacked out.

2 hours later, I was flipping through the channels, and here I find RSNW on a completely different channel.

This new DVR setup is pretty sweet though, I can pause the show or game in one room and play it back in another.
