Nice. How did it stay in that good of shape?

My old man has a 67 Olds Tornado in his garage. It only has about 60k on it. Its been in the garage for as long as Ive been alive. Wish I had the money to give it a nice paint job for him.

That's awesome.my papaw had a 1979 F350 ranger camper special, 2wd, 460 automatic, I remember when i was barely able to pick up q wrench helping him replace the brakes, I remember sitting in the house and id hear that truck turn over and fire and id run outside hollering make it rumble papaw, that was a good ole truck he sold it two years ago with out telling me and I almost cried cause all the memories we had in it. It was a good truck this makes me want to find the guy he sold it to and buy it back.

Actually, that didnt sound right to me so I looked it up and yeah in 79 a 5.7L diesel (preceeding the later 6.2L GM diesel) was available. But the car was much different than a 67.

You know when I read that post I kind of thought I remembered a Toronado having a diesel but wasn't for sure if it was a Toronado. Thanks for looking that up
Nice to know sometimes the mind hasn't forgotten everything
