I had an 85 yota years ago with 35's, 5.29's, built 22r. I sold it and have missed it ever since...


I had been on the lookout for a clean low mileage 2wd yota to build another truck out of, Well a few weeks ago I came across a killer deal on another 85....

Ext cab
Bed bobbed 14"
Welded rear detroit in the front
Small Block (just a wimpy 305)
NP205
Chevy 63's in the rear and rears up front

Truck is pretty much what I would have built for myself except for the engine choice. The truck works very well for the type of wheeling I do around here and the only add ons will be a cage, rear winch, and some Longfileds in front.





And because every truck needs a name....

its not a beast but it goes where i want to go and it takes the family with me !!

 

had to sell all mine

had a fullsize chevy on 42's then a 350 powered blazer on 32's.. now just a dd thats too nice to play with.

gotta find a beater this spring

 

Longfields just moved up the list... Busted both sides last weekend on a hill climb. Gonna toss some stockers back in to get me through this weekend and until the longs show up.

i wish they made them for the Zuk...but i got a set of chromallys from

trail tough and havent had an issue !!!

 

Yep... I did this one up good too... The housing might be toast, I gotta see if I can clean it up tomorrow or not.
