Got ya....What makes the 3406B your favorite?

 

3406B is the mechanical engine, and the 3406 platform has a large aftermarket. If you know someone at cat you can get all the on road part numbers crossed to off road, high out put industrial spec stuff. Large bore piston packs and so on.

Yep, everything he said. They're built like a mule, they sound mean, and they can hang at the truck pulls with the KT Cummins. There's a 3406B in my 1988 International I'm going to restore
