Default Treasured Possession

i sat down and watched flags of our fathers the other night. i absolutely loved it. the script, cinematography, clint's directing, etc all in my eyes were perfect. it really captured the feelings of the moment. i learned a few things i didn't know too. but this movie really hit close to home with me because my grandparents were friends with john bradley. john bradley had given my grandfather this:

it's a 12"x18" print of some kind. poster maybe. my grandfather died in 1953 so this must have been given to him not too long after the war. if u look real close on the right side of the pic, just above the guys' heads u might be able to see the faint inscription. it reads " to my very good friend tedd hagg. best wishes john bradley".

i got this as mine when my grandmother passed away in 1990. it's always meant something to me and it always will.
