I'd consider waiting for the iPhone 5 if you you are just entering the market for a smartphone now.

Default I'll Tell You Why I like the iPhone...

Without getting into a debate about the merits of open source vs. closed, proprietary systems, the iPhone is IMHO the best piece of electronics to ever come out of the Cupertino gang known as Apple Inc. I'm a big open source guy myself, Linux and all that rot. In fact, Microsoft and Apple are two of my favorite hated evil corporations. Gawd help us if they ever band together in some unholy union of high tech world domination.

But when it comes to my phone, it just needs to work and work well. I don't care how many fancy useless apps there are to download, how high or low the price is or anything else. It just has to work well - always. The iPhone does that. I am not comfortable with the Andriod security enviroment risk. If you even used an iPhone for any length of time or been bit by buggy, dangerous Android software you know what I"m talking about. They are sweet little devices that have no peer in the smartphone world today. I'll take the closed Apple IOS enviroment for my phone needs, than you very much.

I've had my RAZR since turkey day and I love it. No problems, super fast. The Verizon rep was at Costco when I bought mine. We were talking about the various phones (iPhone, nexus etc). His reply was "I just ordered a RAZR for myself of that's any indication of how good the phone is for you". Just read somewhere that I'll be getting Android 4.0 in Jan....woohoo

My iPhone 4s came in 2 days ago. I used the heck out of it yesterday from 6:30am until it went dead at 11:00pm last night. My droid X would have been all but dead 3 times.

Ya my wife's iPhone had 30% charge after 18hrs. My Thunderbolt had 13% with an extended battery. But its hard to beat 4G.
