Default I got laid off...

I always wanted to just stay home and do nothing. But I have quickly realized that it's not really that great, and I am considering going back to school for... something

Plus now I can't get anything I want, or even things I really NEED for my truck. I need a job.

Sorry to hear it man. I was laid off once. Worst best thing to ever happen to me, if I had not been I wouldn't be in the job I am now. Keep your head up, go to school and find you a career instead of a job!

I was laid off for 1 year and 4 months. The first couple months were kind of fun since it was during the summer, but it got real old, real quick. I had a TOUGH time finding a job. Luckily a friend of mine had got me in with the company I'm at now. Been here almost a year to the date now and love it.

Don't get too hasty. Joining the service is a big decision, not to be taken lightly.

What were you doing prior to getting laid off? Trades, burger flipper, Rocket Scientist?
