Yesterday I had to fly out of Milwaukee to Pittsburg for a meeting. So I get up at 3:00am to get to the airport in Milwaukee (3hr drive) for a 8:00 flight get to the airport and find out my flight is delayed 1:20 min. So I call out to Pittsburg to let everyone know I will be late.Now because of being late on the arrival I have to change my return flight that was 3:50pm. Next available flight leaves at 8:15. Well that makes it a lot later but I take it. Have my meeting go back to the airport at 6:00 to find out that my fricken flight is delayed again.I finally get back to Milwaukee 11:00 pm and still have a 3 hr drive. Well Off I go tired as hell and get about 10 mi. from home when all of a sudden there are red lights on my tail. So I pull over and it's a State Patrol I know I wasn't speeding cause I was following a semi running right at about 58mph.I'm guessing @ 2:00 am he is looking for a drunk driver to nail. He comes up to my vehicle goes thru the usual routine and says the reason I pulled you over was because your license plate light was out and your exhaust is loud. Exhaust is loud?How could he tell that I was following a semi and its cold out so I know he wasn't driving with his windows down Wrote me 2 warnings. Isn't the turbo considered a muffler? It was funny cause he says well I know your exhaust is after market and I see the pillar gauges, what else you got done, some chip in it or injectors. I was like like yeah I have a couple mods. I really wanted to say why don't you follow me and try to keep up What a long day

I know flying will be my last resort over driving any day of the week just for the reasons you mention

 

Man, you fellas up there really have some delay's... down' here we rarely have delays like that

but they do suck and its always a pain in the **** to get home later than you originally planned, especially with a drive in front of you!
