Default computer programs

Lately i've had issues with my computer, from being to slow ect. I had it in the shop last week to clean it up and get it to work faster. And since i got it back,i don't see any change. I'm to the point of throwing it out the door. My question is what kind of programs do you use in your computer to protect it from spyware, ect. I bought the kaspersky anti virus program a few months ago and saw no difference. So i'll never buy that again.

Malware-Bytes anti-malware. It does a way better job than Mcafee (Mcafee is still useful in other ways though). It doesn't bog your system down like Norton either .

Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware, anti-virus and spyware removal download

Im not a computer expert by any means but Im running 6 years on a windows install so I must be doing something ok.

I use Glary Utilities, Ad Aware, and Malware Bytes. For antivirus, I use Avast on one machine and the other 2 machines have AVG. Every program has been free.

You have to stay on top of the malware/spyware or it will kill your machine in no time.

Like others have already mentioned, I use Avast, Malwarebytes, and Spybot, and I also use CCleaner.

Pretty sure all of these are available from download.com, and they are all free.

Still having problems I take it? If I still lived in Bremerton, I'd take a ride over and give you a hand. Try running something like malwarebytes in "Safe Mode."

Start your computer in safe mode
