i am asuming its a gas truck you are talking about from 87-95? probably not on here. someone might be able to help you out if you need a question answered though

 

I've worked on more than a few. What are you looking for?

 

Why it has a flat spot when you step on the gas pedal,likeit has no accelerator pump type of action,thanks

 

Can be caused by a lot of different things, mostly bad sensors. I would check it for DTCs with a scanner and see where that puts you. Some of these sensors when they go bad will give you a DTC, but not necessarily a CEL.
