Ive only seen this twice and I want one. Its basically a hitch insert that looks like it fits a 2 inch hitch receiver, and its got a clevis hook thats about 10 sizes too big. I want one. I dont even know what they are made out of because Ive never been able to see it close enough or touch it, but I cant find them anywhere. Do you think they are custom made?

People build them....usually out of whatever solid bar stock will fit in the receiver and a big Crosby shackle.

Just do a Google search for "pulling hitch" and you'll find what you need.

 

mine were leftovers from a shipyard, not sure where to find ones that big now. ask some local construction or heavy equipment places and in sure you can find em for a better price.

 

Northern Tool, Grainger, Triangle fastener, Reid Supply has them. Any machinery and tool store will have them, just check you local yellow pages. Just letting you know that they aint cheap.
