Yes, if you buy the 80G system you can play all your PS2 games!

If you can find the 20G or 60G they will also play the PS2 games. The 40G is the only one that can't.

 

PS3, if its a choice between the two... I am liking the WII, but I haven't actually gotten to play with one.

 

I agree except the graphics part. PS3 graphics are better but you cant play halo on ps3

 

Actually compared to Call of Duty 4 and Gears of War HALO 3 is a joke.

 

I own call of duty 4 thats a sweet game. I wouldn't consider Halo 3 a joke and Gears of War it looks awesome but halo on live got more replayablity to me. Yeah Gears of War gets old.

 

I'd have to recommend all three plus Rainbow Six-Vegas(and 2). I've tried to figure out which of the four I like better, having beat them all on multiple difficulty settings...they're all pretty different and I really can't say one is a better FPS than the other.

as far as what console, most of my experience is with Xbox 360, I really like it. sure there have been problems with it but none of my friends have had any issues with warranty returns or anything bad. if you're into technical racing games, Forza Motorsports2 is absolutely amazing. they did a TON of work developing the physics engine, it's flat out impressive and very realistic.

if you're getting a console as a DVD player, too you'll probably want to go with the PS3 as I'm pretty sure Sony has a bunch of 'escorts' doing their thing with some business execs...they're getting quite a few exclusive contracts for the BlueRay; now if they'll hurry up and finalize a format, that'd be great.
