Poor High School Student In Need Of Help!!!
Okay guys. The 2001 is throwing codes, it's the lift pump I'm fairly sure. I don't have the money right now for a new pump. I was wondering if anybody had a stocker taking up space in their garage that I might be able to score. I would be willing to put up a little cash and pay shipping...but the cheaper the better. I need to get this thing on the road. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank You and God Bless,
Phillip Hooker

I can donate the 12 bad ones to ya then ya could save for a VP and a decent fuel dilivery system all at the same time.
a couple years ago I had a friend up here in the exact same boat as you......he ended up with a used l/p and was happy......he still didnt invest in a fp gauge so about a year later we put a fass II and a new IP and also a fp gauge

Of course, I would suggest getting a fuel system upgrade....BUT if funds are that tight you could look at trying to get a campaign lift pump (not sure what the price is now) and a vulcan bigline/LP relocation kit. This is going to cost $200 minimum.
What happened with the code scan??? Even with the code scan you STILL need to check fuel pressure.
